So let's introduce you the game of the day! You type a name from the link section and just put ".com" to see what happens...Well this is what you've got when you're doing "www.jeffklein.com:
and if you type www.ryanadams.com, you stumble upon a site that says "No, i am not the singer Ryan Adams, click here to go to his site". hahah.
and if you type www.megwhite.com (even if she's not really listed in the links part..just her band), you come across a site with stupid jokes.
so silly but still ho so funny when you're bored.

i've noticed something pretty funny today (well, not THAT funny but anyways). i did answered the questions of a little survey and posted it on my personal diary (and you can see it here, if you're bored that is). i stole this from a lovely Scottish girl, whose diary i started to read because i joined her dairy-ring --basically, a join-my-ring-if-you-like-Jesse Malin so of course i joined ;) -- and then , this survey started being posted on looooots of diaries of people i 'kinda' know, and whose diaries i usually don't even check, but today i was bored, so i did. and this survey did the tour of earth (probably not the correction expression but i can't be bothered to look it up in the dictionary). hehe. (btw, those people aren't Karina, Jax or Morgan because i read their blogs regulary).
damn my brother for reminding me of the song that won Eurovision in 2003 (Turkey song) because i have it on my mind right now. damnit.
Luna, get on msn and send me that pic of Princess Leon so i can host it and post it here. pleeeeeeaaaase.

haha. it is still not fixed. i am going to kill this blog, no really, i am.
the google search related to this blog (as appearing on the top of the page) is the the Strokes-related (who would have guessed?) BUT it is in spanish. have i mentionned that i hate this language? hmmm. stop stalking me now, evil language.
what else? oh i'm sure you'll be glad to learn that i am typing this without looking at the keyboard (i bet you're all very impressed, unless you too manage to do that yourself, but then fuck you!).
also, i am not hiding the fact that i am posting this so that the template is a bit less fucked up, because i don't know how it happened (cough-cough-probably-by-not-posting-enough-cough) but our tag board is right at the bottom of the page, for some stupid reason. it should be at the top, so now, you stupid tag board, you're going to get your fucking ass at the top of the side-bar (talking à la Nick Valensi...or should it be Julian? no no, Luna and I say it is Nick).
what else....ohhhh yeah THE MOLDY PEACHES ROCK. they made Luna and I meet. before we got kinda banned from their board hehe. stupid other members. if you don't know the Moldy Peaches, go and either listen to them on the net or far better, buy their first LP. they're quite generous, there are 19 songs on it, so it is rather a good buy.
their site seems to be down at the moment so i can't link to it, but as i am quite generous myself (and charitable too...knowing it is Christmas and all...just helping poor kids out) here i give you some pics (which may be protected by copyrights, but i am not aware of that so i just hope i won't have to pay a 50 000$ fine, which my bank account will not really appreciate...but before....catch me hehe) :
don't they look cool on that one?
and that one is pretty lovely too :
the drummer :
one day, i got an email from him, which surprised me since i hadn't written to him first. he saw my address on their forum (before the time we got banned of course..i am not bitter) and wrote me...i can't remember the message, but i have it saved somewhere. i think it contained french. with mistakes of course ;)
so now, i have just spent half an hour typing this entry, with the pics and links, so if our template is still messed up, i am afraid i'll have to smash my computer. be at your right place dumme tag board.

The Strokes gig review. awww us like : )
so, Strokes gig yesterday...it was ACE!!! here’s a little review :
i will spare you the “we got to wait long hours in the cold bla bla”, when we got into the venue, i had to find Luna and Yasmine (and two friends of theirs) because they didn’t enter by the same entry as me (press entry). so i screamed “Luuunnnaaaa” and she got out of where she was, she found me and took me to where she was. Ben Kweller came on stage, he was good fun. i can’t give you song titles, because hey i don’t know them! but he was alright, really.
then, Kings of Leon. they were really good, but at some time people were pushing so hard, someone hit Luna who couldn’t breath, so she got out. she seemed to feel bad, and Yasmine looked at me and told me to hold the barrier and her arm so we wouldn’t lose each other. it was ok then, not too much pushing. then atfer the Kings of Leon’s set was over, Luna called Yasmine on her cell, and told her she was on the complete right, on the seats and she had a good view, so i told Yasmine to tell her i was coming to meet her where she was because i didn’t want to let her spend the rest of the gig alone. i asked some security guard to get me out of here, he took me under the armpits and lifted me up (?) as if i was sooooo light. hey, it’s their job after all. so, i got to meet Luna, and we spent an amazing evening!
Strokes setlist; from what i remember :
from Is This It :
the Modern Age -YAY Luna and I love that song, we screamed the lyrics so loud, i had no voice left
after that. hehe, it was worth it.
Soma -same here, we’ve got a thing for the oldies songs as you can imagine.
Someday -oh god that one was GOOD.
Alone Together -first song they played if i remember well.
Last Nite -we couldn’t stopped dancing on this one.
NYC Cops -we SCREAMED, JUMPED, DANCED. no wonder why my whole body hurts now and why i have no voice left.
Hard To Explain -we just love it. Luna and I made a cover of this song, so it’s quite special to us.
Take It Or Leave It -the very last song they played, just to say “hey now, take our music or leave it”. they always end with that one...
from Room On Fire :
Reptilia
12:51 -they played it straight after Alone Together, with no break. it worked like that.
Under Control
You Talk Way Too Much -love that one.
Meet Me in the Bathroom
other :
a Clash cover. Luna and I LOOOOOVE the Clash...awww
Funny things :
-when Jules tried to speak french, it was lovely (except for the I want to eat your puss.... in french, thanks mate!). what do i remember, wait....ohh “merci beacoup de venir mes amis, il y a beacucoup de jolis filles et garçons” (thanks a lot for coming my friends -with grammar mistake but nevermind, it’s Julian i forgive him- there are a lot of nice girls and boys”)
Julian : “now we’re gonna play a Jacques Brel Song....” so the audience was like YEAAAAAAAAHHHH, do so!!!! amazing” and then he said “no i’m kidding” and everyone booed him, so we got a nice “awww fuck you!” in return. hehe. and then he said "what if i played a Serge Gainsbourg song?! hehe"
Jules did crowd surfing, he was crazy to do that, his nice jacket got torn. mind you, but it was a NICE jacket, this one.
Fabrizio did crowd surfing too at the end of the show but less dangerous...
after the show, Yasmine realized that she had lost her jacket and of course, the backstage passes were on it. when she found it back, there was no backstage pass left (who would have guessed heh?). so, only Luna had her pass, so she got backstage, and found two passes for us (because the security guards were EVIL, they wouldn’t let us enter).
btw, THANK YOU, you who works for the Strokes tour crew who found two passes when Luna asked you. you were too nice, really. thank you very very very very very much : )
oki, before Luna got the pass for me, she made Nick write a note, in case she couldn’t find a pass and i wouldn’t be allowed to enter. Nick wrote :
“SO SORRY YOU COULDN’T GET IN, BUT EVERY FRIEND OF TIM IS A FUCKING FRIEND OF MINE, SO I GUESS THAT’S THAT”+ drawing of a little heart (aww, bless) + his autograph. so sweet i found.
but then when i entered, i met him, Luna said “hey that’s my friend!” and Nick said “ohh nice to meet you! so you’re a friend of Tim?!” i said “hmm ya”. he smiled. the world is small heheh.
then we got to speak to Nikolai. he was very sweet to us, Luna told him “hey you know that poster which is standing on a wall in your management office, with lots of pictures of you...we made it”. and he was like “ohhh that’s you?! that’s great really...” then we said “oh we can speak french if you want...” and he said (if i remember well, something like...) oui il est vraiment très bien, ça nous a fait plaisir, c’est bien quand des fans nous font ce genre de cadeaux, on a essayé de vous contacter mais ça marchais pas....si jamais ça devient un truc officiel il faudra qu’on vous passe quelquechose pour vous remercier” (poufpoufmerciLunaetjemesuisdébrouilléecommej’aipu). (= yes it is a really good poster, it pleased us, it’s nice when fans make this kind of gifts, we tried to contact you but it didn’t work...if it ever becomes an official stuff, we’ll have to give you something to thank you).
even Nick’s girlfriend (the model Amanda De Cadenet...note : i do NOT know every band members' private lives...i read that somewhere and that’s it. i’m not a psycho-psycho-crazy-fan) said “Ohhhh i saw that poster, it’s beautiiifuuul”. she was really lovely and smiling all the time. hey, looks like the poster is famous in the Strokes’s little world! then we got to speak to Matt Romano, who is “the everything-man” at their mangement team (i read that somewhere and it made me laugh. hehe). he was going downstairs, from the Strokes private room. when he was down, we said “hi Matt” and Luna told him who we were. he shook our hands and said that was nice to meet us. we got to talk for around 10 minutes with him. he said the poster was really great and they would have LOVED to use it as an official poster, but there were a lot of pictures and therefore lots of photo-credits to pay for, and it would have cost thousand and thousand of dollars...then we talked about the show, we said that Luna felt bad at some point and had to get out of the crowd, and Yasmine was hit by some stupid crazy girl, so she turned back and punched her in the face. bien fait!! (well done). Matt said that he agreed that he kids were craaazy sometimes, and he was glad to sit on corner of the stage, so i can admire evrything and stay safe...him having *sneaky eyes*. then Luna said what i had told her to tell him during the show, that it was “Fight for your right to live” in the crowd, and it made him laugh. awww.
then we got to to speak to Albert who was really nice too, and signed autographs for us, and said he remembered the poster and that it was cool. he called Julian for us.
so, Julian got down from the private room, and when we told him about the poster, it took a little while before he got what we were atlking about, just like 20 sec, then he was like “ohhhh that’s you, that’s amazing, thank you” and he shook our hands, kissed us, hugged us. and call me psycho fan if you want (actually no, don’t or i’ll kill you. can’t stand being call a psycho fan or a groupie) but he hugs DAMN WELL!!!!
then we got to speak to Fab, we told him about the poster (we always started with that story so that they got ‘who we were’ straight away) and he tod Gordon Raphael, the producer about it, Gordon didn’t speak, but he joined his hands and bowed his head down as if he was worshiping us!!! lovely. Fab looked quite excited about the gig...oh well, who wasn’t anyway?!
then Fab told Nick about us, but Nick replied “heyyy i know that!!! you aren’t bringing news!!"
ohh everyone was just ADORABLE, Luna felt we should have worn those t-shirt with “i don’t belong here” written on them...
after this we got to speak to Caleb, singer of Kings of Leon. i said “can i ask you something?” he said “sure” i asked “you know this summer you made a gig in Denmark (though it was actually Sweden oops) and he cut in and said "oh i LOVE Denmark” and i said “hmm sure”. i went on “so, i’ve got two friends, you know, twin sisters who met you after the show, and asked you something funny...well that’d be funny if you remembered, well she asked ‘what’s the deal with the tight pants?!’” and he looked at his pants and said “well you find these are tight?! well oh i dunno...so you want the explanation? (note : i just wanted to know if he remembered the little episode, but he went for the whole explanation) so, it’s just like some ‘stage-instrument’ something that draws people’s attention it’s not that comfortable i wouldn’t wear those pants in my everyday life, it’s just on stage, not to be naked you know!!” we all laughed, then he said “nice evening” and left us.
we came across Ben Kweller’s guitarist, who speaks french, and who Luna had spoken to before the gig. he said it was nice that we all managed to get backstage and said goodbye with a nice smile.
wow, looks like i’ve written about all the people we met? i can’t remember of more. ahh nice little show, adorable people backstage, hugs from Julian, laughters with everyone...that was a GREAT night. it was worth the bruises, the 5 hours of sleep after the show, and the painful day that followed (today). i don’t mind all that. WE LOVE OUR DEAR STROKES!!!!!!!!!!!!
(from both Luna and Valli).
i will spare you the “we got to wait long hours in the cold bla bla”, when we got into the venue, i had to find Luna and Yasmine (and two friends of theirs) because they didn’t enter by the same entry as me (press entry). so i screamed “Luuunnnaaaa” and she got out of where she was, she found me and took me to where she was.
